A female extraterrestrial, Neila, arrives on earth in search of a perfect mate. Of royal descent on her own planet, Neila seeks a man who is equal to her strength and powers, and finds him in Superboy. She realizes, however, the Superboy is devoted only to Lana Lang, and tries to disguise herself as a human in order to attract him. When her attempt fails, Neila threatens to destroy Earth in her rage, and Lana may be asked to sacrifice herself to save the world.
