An evil creature from the fifth dimension named Mr. Mxyzptlk comes to Earth to find the secret of Superboy’s powers. Mr. Mxyzptlk turns himself into a Clark Kent clone to win the affections of Lana Lang. When Superboy tries to get Mr. Mxyzptlk away from Lana, Lana believes Superboy is jealous of her newfound relationship with Clark. Meanwhile, Superboy must find another way to get Lana away from the Clark clone before she is whisked away to the fifth dimension by the mysterious Mr. Mxyzptlk.
