Pa Kent, who is possessed by the alien, abducts Lana, and is using her as bait to capture Superboy. The alien holds Lana hostage at a building where Kryptonite, the only substance that can kill Superboy, is secretly hidden. The alien knows if he can get Superboy close enough to the Kryptonite, he will weaken the boy of steel and take over his body. Superboy’s attempt to rescue Lana may be his last….
